I thought I was going thru the worst stress...
I thought I was getting sick...
I didn't know I had been so selfish...
Until the truth being released...
She was so unwell...
I was so uncaring...
I hated everything that was happening...
Perhaps she felt worst...
I offered to help...
By giving advices I felt was right...
What is right? what is wrong?
Who can be the judge?
I almost make a mistake again...
If not for 2 reminders that came in time:
"Love thy father and mother"...~ my aunt
"Focus on the most important"...~ my cousin
I love and I focus...
I buried all the faults and remembered only on her good...
We chatted like 2 best friends would...
We cried and we laughed...
The most important we should learn...
Is what really matters in the end.

Seven-2-Twelve Me (Life Journal ~ Part 2)
What would you have remembered during the Primary School days.
The 'good' teachers, the 'bad' teachers, the 'ever-smiling' teachers, & the 'ever-scolding' ones.
'Mee Rebus', 'Mee Pok'-dry, grass-jelly drinks, soya bean drinks etc.;
The magnificent stage, the assembly time - flag raising and lowering ceremony;
The endless homeworks, tests, exams..
Good friends, no-good friends, buddies, 'boy'-friends, friend's love, puppy-love :)
Sports Day (from Primary 4onwards, all the way to Primary 6), I was the well-known sprinter then, the one who always comes in 1st, in 100m, 200m, and my ever-No.1 4x100m relay-team. Was there a better runner then - not that anyone can think of. I was trained the hardest way and soon I was representing my school, in inter-schools race and winning every race. My confidence and perseverance builds up, with each winning race. And each time after I won, the harder I would train. My best timing recorded 12.59sec (taken from one of the training sessions, the one which I collapsed upon reaching the winning-line). My greatest achievement in running - I was qualified into the Singapore National's Race - Of course I wasn't happy ~I was simply extremely THRILLED!
I anticipated the day, I trained extra hard, I counted the days...I was filled with confidence bcos all this years, I was Number 1! On that very day, the school hired 2 coaches to bring the supporters there. I was Sooo nervous and I know I have to calm myself before I make my step on the track. We reach the stadium, the car park was already filled with coaches and filled with students (supporters), trainers and their 'disciples'. I was so excited, and as a make my first step on the track, I found myself 'talking' to the track: I finally made it to 'you'. I was at the competitors ' stand, waiting anxiously for my Heat-number.. I asked myself: what if i can't make it to the Finals? What if I fail my supporters, my trainers? What ifsssss. My questions were soon answered. I didn't make it to the Final. I failed myself...Friends, supporters, trainers - all consoled me. I smiled and sat quiet throughout the whole journey back to school. I told myself: I have not really given my best. And it was from then on, I aimed not to fail myself in any way.
NETBALL - this was my 2nd BEST. My team was the STRONGEST in North District, We made our name and we were proud. The Best game was 26-0 (ChongBoon Vs Ahmad Ibrahim). We were like the Unbeatables! Our trainer - Mdm Molly Chan, also my form-teacher then, was so proud of me, proud of US.
I learnt that Hardwork brings Success.
If one is diligent, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.

Zero-2-Six Me (Life Journal ~ Part 1)
"Never regard them as an empty shell, coz you never know what lies beneath..."
Memories refer to people / incidents / events that have occurred at a certain point of time and it is 'saved' in our brain till a 'disposal' need. Memory fades, together with time, and gradually it becomes faint; as thin as the thinnest cloud above. Humans are gifted with intelligence, thus giving us the ability to analyse and to decide which memories to save, which to discard.
Just how much of your childhood have you saved??
"....Lorong Ah Soo - Kampong, coconut trees, rambutans, mama-shop at the front of our 2 bedrooms 'bungalow' with huge 'patio' i used to run around with Haw (my elder brother), Fen (my elder cousin), durians!! my bicycle, my 'very personal chou-chou' (most fragrant pillow ~ Can anyone forget that?!) Who was there - Grandpa, Grandma, Mom, Dad, uncles, aunties, elder cousins, relatives, neighbors, ants, spider webs Eeeeeeeeeeee....every single day is so full of life! The commotions, the conversations, the closeness, the arguments, the laughter, the sadness......one of the best networking I thought that was.
...Changi - Grandma, Dad's brothers and sisters, chicken farm, elder and younger cousins, 3 bedrooms 'bungalow' with huge 'patio', neighbors, coconut trees, rambutan tress, ants, spiders, grasshoppers, butterfly, sparrows, worms Eeeeeeeee....'ku-ti ku-ti' :) hide-&-seek :)
...Awake, lying in the 'sarong', waiting patiently for anyone who comes by...waiting, waiting...my elder cousin, with all the kisses and cuddles :) "what a good girl, she never cries when she wakes up, she just waits quietly, patiently for whoever is available...She is such a lovely girl" ~ Yes, I was.
...I was sleeping (Lor Ah Soo), everyone was sitting around the dining table, having their routine evening chat. And I gave them a sleep-peeing demo - I got up from mattress, walked towards the room door, bring one leg across the ledge, squatted and supposedly 'pee' (Did i really pee ~ that I can't remember). All I know was I walked back soon after 'peeing' and went straight back into my dreams. Who said sleep-walking is not common? At least for me, it was and it actually carried on until my primary school days!
Things started to change when human strives for the best. Soon we shifted out from Lor Ah Soo, no longer living altogether. My parents got Haw & me a one-room flat - exact location I'm not really sure. The room was nice, Mom had a curtain straight across the unit, acting as a divider for living room and bedroom. The place was small but we were happy. What happen to the rest of my relatives ~ this portion remained unfound.
Not long after, we shifted again. This time to Ang Mo Kio - a 3 bedroom flat where we stayed till now. I guessed I was about 4 ~ 5yrs old then as I remembered Haw, Fen & me were taken care by our grandparent who also got a flat in Ang Mo Kio. My grandparent have 7 children: 5 girls + 2 boys; a twin girls for the 1st two, followed by another girl, then 2 boys and lastly, 2 girls. At that time, the 1st three were married; each bought a flat in Ang Mo Kio, the 2 boys were both married and sailing then and the other 2 girls still studying & courting.
That was probably the best time of my childhood. We were like 3 musketeers - we played together, sleep together, had our meals together - it was the best memories. Haw was the eldest, and Fen & me would always mimic whatever he does. He would sit himself the other way by putting his head on the sofa seat and his legs up in the air (acting as though he is on the plane or spaceship). Fen and me would follow, on another sofa. And we would all pretend we are flying the spaceship to here and there ~ Come to think about it, no pilots that we know of seat the opposite way :) Anyhow, we enjoyed and we laughed over the slightest joke and that was real happiness.
My Grandpa would make us the best milo with ham and egg for breakfast. Come Saturdays, all their children would gather at their house and we would have dinner ALTOGETHER - Very rare would anyone missed the Saturday gatherings. Grandpa was the best chef - ya he was a chef on board during his younger days. And I remembered he once brought us to his ship. I was so young then and I remembered I was so afriad when I had to climb up the gangway. It was indeed a great experience I guessed not many child that age would have. I consider us a lucky lot - we have been onboard at such a young age, we enjoyed a sea outing on my uncle's yacht, though I can't swim, having all my relatives and cousins with me, witnessing everyone's laughter and enjoyment makes me happy! Come festive seasons; Xmas, New Year, Lunar New Year, special occasions; grandma's or grandpa's birthdays...there will be huge celebrations...Xmas trees, new year decoratives, presents, etc...
Amongst the 3, I was the good little lucky one. Everytime when my little auntie goes out with her boyfriend, Pete (now her husband), they would bring me along most of the time. Everytime my grandpa or grandma goes out, they would bring me along. Perhaps I was so tame then. I felt protected, secured and loved. Haw and Fen never bullied me, they loved me like the rest, though I remembered fighting and pulling Fen's hair once.
Even the tamest one would sin; somehow the devil took control of me and I sin for the 1st time when I was 6yrs old. I was already in PAP kindergarten and had all 'red' on my exam report card. Fearing that I would disappoint everyone, I erased the marks and replaced it with passing scores in blue. I thought everything was going smoothly after my mom had signed on it - I should have known better than that teachers are not fools. My teacher found out that I had altered the marks and what else - my grandma was notified, my mom was notified, everyone was notified! What a shame - I swear to myself then: Never again would I allow a 'red' on my report cards (and I managed to uphold the little promise I swore).
"Good things always comes to an end" ~ ...or perhaps it ended as we grow with a change in perspective, in our dreams, in the things we pursue...or perhaps it has never ended but we thought it had??
Events that have taken place in a child's life marks the life he/she will lead in the future. Things happen for a reason and it is up to individual to explore the meaning and learn through experiences behind that happy or sad day. It is up to an individual to find the way he/she wants his/her life to be, most importantly: to lead live with a clear conscience.

Mom's Birthday!
Today is a special day for you.
I wish you the best of health and happiness.
If not for you, I gain no knowledge, know no words.
If not for you, "I" never would exist.
Never more grateful to you: For 'who I am' and 'what I am'
Happy Birthday, my precious Mother...
StAy PoSiTiVe!
Happiness keeps You Sweet,
Trials keep You Strong,
Sorrows keep You Human,
Failures keep You Humble,
Success keeps You Glowing,
But Only Perseverance keeps You Going!
Happiness is NOT something you find, It's something you create.
Nothing in this world is IMPOSSIBLE ,,, coz the word IMPOSSIBLE itself says I M POSSIBLE..
KEEP SMILING ALWAYS
Believe in doing ordinary things in an extraordinary manner.
Working hard is not enough; WORK SMART.

What's A Healthy Environment??
The 3Cs; Consideration + Co-operation + Communication = A Healthy Environment
= A Better Tommorrow
The world is filled with US and We evolve around the world through Connections with one another.
My hope for Mankind - To learn the basics of the 3Cs..to build a better tomorrow for our NEXT generation..to create a Healthier Life for all..to LOVE one another..to Forgive and Forget..to move towards Positiveness and eliminate the Negatives..
"No man is an island" yet "You can't sail a ship without Man"
It is not You OR Me. It is You&Me.
It takes two hands to clap and it's You & Me that makes a difference.
How Man mis-uses the 3Cs":-
Consideration ~ A result of considering; an opinion or a judgment:
Consideration reflects Our personalities.
We judge on the basis of our own thoughts and experiences.
We choose to see things that are pleasant to our eyes, we ignore the unpleasants.
We perform tasks that are to our advantage and overlook on effects to another.
Co-operation ~ The association of persons or businesses for common, usually economic, benefit:
Co-operation encircles our daily lives.
We depend on another for a task done; we expect assistance.
We irritate when a job's undone, we shove the fault to the next "nearest and available".
Communication ~ The exchange of thoughts, messages, or information, as by speech, signals, writing,
or behavior.
Interpersonal rapport.
Communication connects Life.
We use words that best suit our situations.
We retort when things don't stand in favor of us.
We remain silence when unhappy; hoping another gets the 'hint'.
How 3Cs, when used effectively, create A Better Tomorrow:-
Considering others first (before ourselves), reaps a better result.
Demanding first from ourselves opens up the pavement to a better co-operation in future.
Think first before we speak - "Hurting words hurts others, hurts US"
Nothing is easy - No one says 'it is'
~ IF THERE'S A WILL, THERE'S A WAY ~

I'm so sorry....
Make it up with swimming this Sun ya....
LOVE, LOVE youszz....
Here's a short poem for you 2:
"Look, I love you, I believe in you.
I know you are going through a lot of upset &
you need to tell me to go to hell with every other breath these days,
Which I'm quite willing to accept;
The only thing that counts is that in the long run,
You find out who you are and you live it."

It's all about BONDING.....
Today is the 1st time we celebrated Mothers' Day; ALTOGETHER!
With all the Loh-sisters, except for Aunt Poh...
We didn't meant it to be such a BIG celebration,
But everything went JUST RIGHT!
It's not the number of persons present that are important,
It's the time spent together that is.
Though it's just a less than 2hrs dinner,
It probably is what it's supposed to be - MOTHERS' DAY....
This is the BOND, I believed, everyone yearns for.
3 CHEERS to MOTHERS' DAY 2006!

Father....
When you were 8 years old, your dad handed you an ice cream. You thanked him by dripping it all over your lap.
When you were 9 years old, he paid for piano lessons. You thanked him by never even bothering to practice.
When you were 10 years old he drove you all day, from soccer to gymnastic to one birthday party after another. You thanked him by jumping out of the car and never looking back.
When you were 11 years old, he took you and your friends to the movies. You thanked him by asking to sit in a different row.
When you were 12 years old, he warned you not to watch certain TV shows. You thanked him by waiting until he left the house.
When you were 13, he suggested a haircut that was becoming. You thanked him by telling him he had no taste.
When you were 14, he paid for a month away at summer camp. You thanked him by forgetting to write a single letter.
When you were 15, he came home from work, looking for a hug. You thanked him by having your bedroom door locked.
When you were 16, he taught you how to drive his car. You thanked him by taking it every chance you could.
When you were 17, he was expecting an important call. You thanked him by being on the phone all night.
When you were 18, he cried at your high school graduation. You thanked him by staying out partying until dawn.
When you were 19, he paid for your college tuition, drove you to campus carried your bags. You thanked him by saying good-bye outside the dorm so you wouldn't be embarrassed in front of your friends.
When you were 25, he helped to pay for your wedding, and he cried and told you how deeply he loved you. You thanked him by moving halfway across the country.
When you were 50, he fell ill and needed you to take care of him. You thanked him by reading about the burden parents become to their children.
"mon papa merveilleux" (my father is fabulous)
And then, one day, he quietly died. And everything you never did came crashing down like thunder on YOUR HEART.
Even if your dad has not done any of the above, without him, you don't exist!
Love thy Father!

あと1週間。。。。寂しい。。
1 min - wanna go home, the next min - I dun wanna LEAVE!
Insane - No, it's just that when I think about the fresh sashimi, ramen, tonkatsu, yakiniku, simplest bento, etc, etc, that I'm going to missed, the unique individual shops along most of every stretch I'm going to missed, the extroadinary ambience in the restaurants/izakayas/cafes, I'l be missing....ALL that I can't find in SG!
Don't slap me SINGAPOREANS! If only u have been here, You will know what I mean.
I'm not being crude BUT can anyone tell me what's interesting in Singapore?
"SEEK YR OWN INTEREST!" - perhaps this is what U will say?
Doesn't anyone know that interest have to be cultivated or prehaps there must 1st be an attraction, then comes the interest. If there's no initial attraction, interest will never exist! WHAT RUBBISH! Ya, forgive me, I'm going through the period of losing something INTERESTING! Just allow me to blar on.....
Alright - I have my family back there - my precious niece & nephews...my friends, my cousins, my yet-to-be-found new job, my new colleagues.....I NEED SOMETHING MORE AROUSING! ....alright, new house to look forward to, Japanese language course to attend, new kitchen necessities to shop for, new recipes to ponder on, new...?, new...? WHAT ELSE!
I'l just have to learn to be......alright, I SHALL BE CONTENTED.

My 3 months in Japan....& it's coming to an end..
I arrived in Narita airport on 30th December 2005, out from immigration approx. 1600hrs.
I bought a Narita Express (bullet train) ticket to Shinagawa. The journey was about 1hr+15mins. There was about 15mins b4 the train depart so I walked towards a small convenient shop, trying to ask if there's any public phone. With my 'half-pail-water' japanese communication skills, I tried asking an 'oba-san' (middle-age lady who was tendering the shop). "すみません、電話どこありますか?" (May I know where I can find a public phone?) The aunty looked @me, started shaking her head & hands; left to right, (as though she just saw an alien). I walked away, irritated, I thought: Did I said something wrong? Nevermind....anyhow just a few steps from the shop, I found a WHOLE STRETCH of public phones! Happily, I made my call.
I board the train & waited eagerly for it to arrive @Shinagawa Station. "品川 station” - (intercom fr train). I then proceed to Ebisu http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ebisu,, - a very convenient place in Tokyo, filled with most foreigners & easily accessible to trendy areas like DAIKANYAMA, SHIBUYA, SHINJUKU, OMOTESANDO & ...etc
Link to OMOTESANDO, one of the classiest town, NOT TO BE MISSED!: http://metropolis.japantoday.com/HealthandBeauty/396/healthandbeautyinc.htm
Initially, I was homesick (ya, if u read my post on MY 1ST TIME, FAR & AWAY....). With the Japanese book I brought over from SG, I started learning Japanese (the awkward experience with the oba-san has triggered my eagerness in picking up their language). Then, I made a friend through SAIJ http://www.saij.org/feedback_help.asp (a link for Singaporeans in Japan - A MUST KNOW!). Initially, I was quite paranoid about meeting people through internet (so many scary stories we have heard rite) but then I was so desparate to shake my loneliness off. I braced up my courage & I met up with Aelis (my 1st SG girl friend!). GOSH - I can never explained how HAPPY I was! We met @the popular ROPPONGI HILLS http://www.roppongihills.com/en/facilities/ (You must not missed out this gorgeous shopping mall if you visit Tokyo, of course, there are many more such AMAZING buildings in Tokyo) - Heard about the LIVEDOOR scam - the office is just right in this 'HILL'! This is a TAKAI (expensive) HILL!
Tokyo is a country filled with trendiest coffee house; with delicate & delicious cakes & tarts! Every stretch, every corner I turned to, there's definitely an amazing boutique or restaurant or bar or gift shop, awaiting me! I'm telling the truth! There's no one corner where there's nothing!
It's such a BUSY city: I liked a quote Reki commented on Tokyo, he says: TOKYO NEVER SLEEPS! And true enough, "24-7" (24hrs, 7days), you can see groups of people, gathering everywhere, anytime, having FUN!
I am especially thrilled with the most common IZAKAYA-style restaurants. http://www.gnavi.co.jp/en/k_restaurant/izakaya.htm Most of the biz men & ladies patronized these restaurants after a hard-day's work, & u know - there are so many of them, most with excellent ambience that you don't really have to worry that it's FULL-HOUSE. The best part of these izakayas is you & your friends can stay there the whole nite, eat, drink, chat, all the way till the shop closes; some as late as 6AM! TOKYO NEVER SLEEPS!
There's just too many restaurants in Japan. My favorite: YAKINIKU! http://www.gnavi.co.jp/en/k_restaurant/yakiniku.htm I just can't stop eating MEAT! Anything, beef tongue, raw beef, u name it, I'v tried it! OISHII (delicious)!
Here's a link to all the different types of restaurants & food, from Tokyo to Yokohama:
http://ss.gnavi.co.jp/fl/search/?id=enU&area=AREA110&ctgry=CTG610 (You will LOVE ME for this!)
Perhaps I have never been to another foreign countries but coming to Tokyo gives me the feeling that I'v been to many parts of the world! Every place I visited, gives me a different experience & amazement! There's so many gorgeous architects, like PRADA, GUCCI, CHANEL, LOUIS VUITTON etc....branded BULDINGS on its OWN & in different parts of Tokyo!
(prada shop in aoyama) http://www.galinsky.com/buildings/pradatokyo/
One of the most important factor a shopper looks for is SERVICE & I can tell u, their service staffs; in restaurants, in shopping malls, any corner as long as they r running a biz., they provide u THE BEST! Every little product u purchase, as long as u mention "it's a gift for someone", they have it wrapped beautifully FREE-OF-CHARGE (so thoughtful of them)!
There are unique stalls like the 100yen shops where ALL products are sold at just 100yen!
I recently came across a 99yen supermarket where all fresh vegetables, fruits, bread, ice-creams....EVERYTHING u can find in a supermarket, everything at the price of 99yen (equiv to S$1.40)! Don't believe what I just said, U gotta see it for yourself!
http://www.kananet.com/japanguide/link10hiroo.htm
I probably can never stop talking about Tokyo...& it's only a small part of Tokyo that I'v been talking about! There are so many other areas in Tokyo & many more in different parts of Japan, like Yokohama, Kyoto.....etc...the Hakone (a place where one can find lots of ONSEN - hot springs)...TOO MANY & so many I still have not set foot on! It probably takes YEARS to travel the whole of Japan!
The fashion, the people, the food, the places of interests - YOU'V GOTTA EXPERIENCE IT YOURSELF TO GET THE FEEL OF IT!
My visa; 90 days, is expiring soon & I'm heading back to Singapore on 26th March 2006.
How do I feel? Sad that I'm leaving this interesting country. Happy that I'v learnt so much!
Thank you, Reki, for giving me a fruitful living experience in this beautiful country!

Your starstone is the precious Moonstone. They are not brilliant stones, in fact, all of the specimens, from the peach and grays to the gem-quality blue and rainbow-colored pieces, are soft and translucent. The physical appearance of a stone often suggests its spiritual qualities, and moonstone's most important attribute is the ability to assist us in calming and soothing the emotions. When one has achieved a state of emotional calmness, this stone may be used to open a path to an intuitive understanding of spirituality.

All About Xavier; (+) & (-):
Xavier possesses a gentle, patient, malleable nature. He has many generous qualities, isfriendly, good natured, kind and compassionate, sensitive to the feelings of those around him, and responds with the utmost sympathy and tact to any suffering he encounters. He is deservedly popular with all kinds of people, partly because of his easygoing, affectionate, submissive nature offers no threat or challenge to stronger and more exuberant characters. He accepts the people around him and the circumstances in which he finds himself rather than trying to adapt them to suit himself, and he patiently waits for problems to sort themselves out rather than take the initiative in solving them. He is more readily concerned with the problems of others than with his own.
Xavier's nature tend to be too worldly for the practical purposes of living in this world as it is. He sometimes exists emotionally rather than rationally, instinctively more than intellectually (depending on how he is aspected). He longs to be recognized as greatly creative. He also dislikes disciple and confinement. The nine-to-five life is not for him. Any rebellion he makes against convention is personal, however, as he often does not have the energy or motivation to battle against the Establishment.
Xavier tends to withdraw into a dream world where his quality can bring mental satisfaction and sometimes, fame and financial reward for he is extremely gifted artistically. He is also versatile and intuitive, has quick understanding, observes and listens well, and is receptive to new ideas and atmospheres. All these factors can combine to produce remarkable creativity in literature, music and art. He may count among his gifts mediumistic qualities which gives him a feeling that his best work comes from outside himself, "Whispered beyond the misted curtains, screening this world from that." Even when he cannot express himself creatively, he has a greater than average instinct for, and love of, beauty in art and nature, a catlike appreciation of luxury and pleasure, and a yearning for new sensations and travel to remote, exotic places.
Xavier is never egotistical in his personal relationships and give more than he asks from his friends. He is sexually delicate, in the extreme almost asexual, and would want a relationship in which the partner's mind and spirit rather than the body resonated with his own. Unfortunately he can be easily misled by a lover who courts him delicately and in marriage makes him unhappy by a coarser sexuality than he expected. He is nevertheless intensely loyal and home-loving and will remain faithful.
In his employment he is better working either by himself or in subordinate position. His talents are individual in a commercial business or similar undertaking. He would be afraid to manage more than a small department, worrying always that he would fail in a crisis. His sympathy equips him for work in charities catering for the needy, catering after the sick and as veterinary surgeons caring for animals. As librarian or astronomer he can satisfies his mental wanderlust, and his fondness for "faraway places with strange-sounding names" may turn him into sailor or traveller. Xavier, when his creative abilities are combined with gifts of imitation and the ability to enter into the feelings of others, he finds his fulfillment on the stage. His psychic and spiritual qualities can lead him into careers in the church or as mediums and mystics. He may find an outlet for his creativity as caterers, and is said to make good detective because he can imagine himselves in the place of criminals and understand how their minds would work. In technical occupations he is well employed in dealing with anaesthetics, fluids, gases and plastics. Because of his lively versatility and inability to concentrate overmuch on any one project, Xavier often simultaneously follow more than one occupation.

Libra is the only inanimate sign of the zodiac. It is the most desirable of zodiacal types because it represents the zenith of the year, the high point of the seasons, when the harvest of all the hard work of the spring is reaped.
Librans are among the most civilized of the twelve zodiacal characters and are often good looking. They have elegance, charm and good taste, are naturally kind, very gentle, and lovers of beauty, harmony (both in music and social living) and the pleasures that these bring.
(+) about Nadia:
She has good critical faculty and are able to stand back and look impartially at matters which call for an impartial judgment to be made on them. But she does not tolerate argument from anyone who challenges her opinions, for once she has reached a conclusion, its truth seems to her self-evident; and among her faults is an impatience of criticism and a greed for approval. But her character are on the whole balanced, diplomatic and even tempered.
Nadia is sensitive to the needs of others and have the gift, sometimes to an almost psychic extent, of understanding the emotional needs of her companions and meeting them with her own innate optimism - she is the kind of person of whom it is said, "she often makes you feel better for having been with her." Nadia is a very social person. She loathes cruelty, viciousness and vulgarity and detest conflict between people, so she does her best to cooperate and compromise with everyone around her, and her ideal for her own circle and for society as a whole is unity.
Nadia's cast of mind is artistic rather than intellectual, though she is usually too moderate and well balanced to be avant garde in any artistic endeavor. She has good perception and observation and her critical ability, with which she is able to view her own efforts as well as those of others, gives her work integrity.
In her personal relationships she show understanding of the other person's point of view, trying to resolve any differences by compromise, and is often willing to allow claims against herself to be settled to her own disadvantage rather than spoil a relationship. She likes the opposite sex to the extent of promiscuity sometimes, and may indulge in romanticism bordering on sentimentality. Her marriage, however, stand a good chance of success because she is frequently the union of "true minds". Nadia's (Libran's) continuing kindness toward her partner mollifies any hurt the latter may feel if the two have had a tiff, for the Nadia (Libran) is usually the most empathetic of all the zodiacal types and the most ready to tolerate the beloved's failings.
(-) about Nadia:
Nadia's character may show frivolity, flirtatiousness and shallowness. She can be changeable and indecisive, impatient of routine, colorlessly conventional and timid, easygoing to the point of inertia, seldom angry when circumstances demand a show of annoyance at least; and yet Nadia can shock everyone around her with sudden storms of rage. Her love of pleasure may lead her into extravagance; Libran women are extravagant, jealous and careless; a characteristic of the type is an insatiable curiosity that tempts her to enquire into every social scandal in her circle.
In her work, Nadia can be surprisingly energetic, though it is true that she dislikes coarse, dirty work. With her dislike of extremes she makes a good diplomat but perhaps poor party politician, for she is moderate in her opinion and able to see other points of view. She can succeed as administrator, lawyer (she has a strong sense of justice, which cynics might say could handicap her in a legal career), antique dealer, civil servant and banker, for she is trustworthy in handling other people's money. Nadia has an ability in the management of all sorts of public entertainment. She works philanthropically for humanity with great self-disciple and significant results. Nadia probably make good speculator as a financial banker, for she has the optimism and ability to recover from financial crashes.
Possible Health Concerns...for Librans:
Libra governs the lumbar region, lower back and kidneys. Its subjects must beware of weaknesses in the back, and lumbago, and they are susceptible to troubles in the kidneys and bladder, especially gravel and stone. They need to avoid overindulgence in food and especially drink, for the latter can particularly harm the kidneys.

The Most Despaired Period In My Life.......
Can u remember when was the worst times of your life?
Or would u rather not remember?
Can u forget; let it be buried?
Or would u hv it as a reminder so that u dun err again?
Many say: "It's better to bury the past; never to be mentioned again."
I say: "There's nothing to be ashamed of. Humans learn through mistakes."
Many say: "There's nothing to be proud of; dirty linens shd not be publicised."
I say: "It will forever be a piece of dirty linen (even after washed), if one's views aren't altered."
Everyone leads a different life; i don't despise yours, neither should u on mine.
Everyone has a taste of what despair feels like; it may be as bitter as poison, or as painful as in labour!
The most despaired period in my life.........:
It was nothing but darkness even in broad daylight; 24hrs in nite mode.
No one cares; tt's what I thought - why shd they (with the rebelling: ME).
"What had gone wrong?" - I asked myself, "what had I done?"
Everyone said that I was the most obedient among all, everyone said that I was the easiest to babysit. Have they found someone more obedient than me? Have they forgotten that I was the one they used to bring, out for those Sunday afternoon walks in the park??
I was alone, because I hv erred. I was not forgiven because I'm supposed to be the BEST but now that I have with me, a scar - for the rest of my life......
I was still a little girl, just like any 13s or 14s.. Those Sats that I'v alys looked 4ward to, those yearly Xmas celebrations with 'the-thoughts-tt-counts'; they soon disappear, for a reason I know not. The loneliness soon crept in & I know it's time I find myself new companions. Who is good? Who is not? No one was there to advice so I trusted my instincts - only to realise that my choice was wrong fr the start, leading me to one mistake after another, until the last WORST one.
I thought: There's no more hope left for me until my immediate family appeared, right in front of my eyes - I was touched, I was perhaps in more pain than them, realising how much pain I'v caused them during those times when I thought "no one cares". I was wrong, VERY WRONG!
For a while, I contradict myself: a) I wanted to change, for their sake b) I felt ashamed for bringing them shame.
Due to my low self-esteem then, I again made the wrong choice which I thought it a better one. I moved out fr my family (not knowing tt I'm causing more pain). I avoided meeting up with relatives; thinking tt it's better for my family. IN FACT, I could not face myself! I ended up having the following 3 - 4 years of CNY ALONE! Going back only for reunion dinner & making myself scarce soon after - back to my rented place, mostly ended up in tears & blaming myself for my "retributions".
I started drinking, making myself numb so that I don't feel so LOW - bringing myself one more level DOWN! Not that I never try, on several occasions, I made phone calls, asking for contact numbers of another; I needed someone to talk to so badly, I needed to hear those once-so-familiar voices again, I needed to those 'family bonds' that was once so strong (every Sats) but then NO ONE trusted me. I sank deeper & deeper until one final day, I thought "This is it", & the next half an hr or so, I landed myself in the ER.
I was ALMOST gone: my mind filled with all that I'v done, my childhood days, my family & relatives, my life...& i could hear a familiar voice (a friendly voice asking me to HANG ON). I tell myself "This is not the end for me, @least not now!"...& I lived on.
I thought I was stronger, indeed I was. FAMILY BOND - that was what I needed, I knew. I made the 1st step: I walk out of my guilt, I faced the world (everyone) once again! But still not strong enough to pull myself out fr the deepest drain.
It took me another 3 -4 yrs - to face & accept myself for what I am, the way I see myself b4 all these 'misfortunes' (with a last but not major incident), to recover my self-esteem, to strengthen my will-power, to build my courage & brace myself, to see my 'SINs' as LIFE EXPERIENCES & so on & so forth.
Finally, I MADE IT & now (still working hard on character building), I am proud of myself for tt very 1st step tt I'v made!
Or would u rather not remember?
Can u forget; let it be buried?
Or would u hv it as a reminder so that u dun err again?

SAINT or DEVIL....
Are u a saint or are u a devil??
The times when I'm filled with ZEST; with the GO-GO-GO attitudes, with the NEVER-SAY-NO, NEVER-GIVE-UP motions, this is the time when one is at the highest level, known as the OPTIMISTIC, & this I shall call me A SAINT!
The times when I'm at my LOWEST, accompanied with nothing but NEGATIVES, known as the PESSISMISTIC, & this I shall call me THE DEVIL!
I believe, everyone, same like me, has 2 faces, 2 personalities, 2 characters - THE SAINT & THE DEVIL.
The SAINT is always beautiful, strong with an open-mind, open-heart.
The DEVIL is ugly, weak with an envious mind & heart.
I once heard a comment (fr my soulmate): "Alys think you can, you can & finally u will make it"...And I thought tt it's easy for him to say but it may not work for everyone.
Isn't this same as hypnotising oneself?? - I thought...which is NO good....See, I used the word 'NO' - each time the word 'NO' appear in our sentences, we are actually bringing our self-esteem down by another level. What is GOOD & what is NO GOOD? Isn't all these rated by ourselves??
We are the masters of the language, we take control of our words, which means we are in full control of our life, almost full control of situations (not to mention accidental matters).
After repeating the statement in my head several times; HEY! It does seems LOGIC!
Imagine one who keeps on disacouraging oneself or another (in chinese we say "pouring cold water on one), probably this person has never made any achievements in his/her life! DO NOT be fooled by him/her! Stand up & fight for your dreams! If you don't try, U will never know!
Hey! U DEVIL, stop contaminating yr negativities around - you are not welcome! This will only lead to more illness to the population. What we need in this world, in our lives, are people full of hopes & enthusiasm, to make this a even better world...
The proverb: An apple a day keeps the doctor away..
How abt: A smile a day keeps the DEVIL away!
A favourite phrase I often share with my friends & loved ones: It's all in the mind!
Whether u want it the SAINT way or the DEVIL way, choose your preferred path, stick to your notion & be responsible for your own choice.
May God continue to bless the saints & help the devils!

Grandpa, This is for you......
Not that I don't wanna let you go,
Not that I bear to see you in pain.
Not that you treat us bad,
Why does it have to be you?
The geniune smiles on your face,
The humbleness I'v ever seen,
Words uttered with pure reasoning,
Why does it have to be you?
I remembered your attentiveness,
Not forgetting your love & care.
I remembered your strength & will-power,
Why does it have to be you?
You said "Do not worry",
Why were tears in your eyes?
You assured "I'll be fine",
I thought 'Grandpa never lied'?
Your decision to leave,
To release us from pain?
Never will I forget YOU:
The BEST grandpa I'v ever had!
"Grandpa, if only you are here, I'd present this personally to you"
Remembered & loved 4ever,
Grand-daughter, YEE
(Do not hesitate to express your love, your emotions to your grandparents; now that they are still around. Do it b4 it's too late)

1st Time In My Entire Life - FAR & AWAY From ......
Thinking of staying away fr parents? Leaving an independent life: decorating yr bedrm/living rm/kitchen, the way u want it to look. Having the freedom of gg out & cmg hm, as or when; with no one to nag at. THINK AGAIN.
I believe this is what most teenagers or perhaps teenagers turning into adulthood today yearn for - FREEDOM...
This was what happened to me & I had my dream come true; only to regret it 10years down the road.
Indeed I had years of exciting & carefree life....to the extent of seeing my family just few times a year...It started just after I rch adulthood (21yrs old), for the next 7/8 yrs....Wow! Tt's a long long time....And to think tt I'v ignored them, almost totally, the ones most important in my life; now tt I know!
Now tt I'm in Japan( probably every other's dream), finally a wish come true???? Far & away fr my family....I now thought I should never have wished upon this.
The 1st one week was fine. I began to feel the importance of being together - all which I have lost for during my adulthood. How much hv I missed? All those years of not with them (family), all those neglects fr me - how much tears hv they shed? How much pain hv I caused?
Sitting here, alone, I began to realise what is PAIN, what it's like to MISS SOMEONE SO DEAR, what it's like to be ALL ALONE. It seems easy to say "just give them a call" - ya, tt's what I did but it feels nothing the same as when I called while I was in Singapore. My few-minutes calls to them releases me of my loneliness but then it sets in again & each time the loneliness probably increases 2/3 times more than before, after the 'bye bye'.
I remembered distinctively one of my calls to dad. It was around 7plus in the evening here (ard 6plus SG time). Dad had just finished his dinner & had just drove out for his daily taxi rounds. He sounded extremely happy tt I called & soon stopped over at the roadside (as he had not put on his ear piece) so tt he could talk to me. I was touched - touched by this small gesture of his. Immediately I could feel the shakiness in my voice, I assured him everything is fine here & tt I will be back in SG soon & of my bf's decision to join his friend's co. in SG. Of course he was thrilled tt I'd be back soon. Though I tried my best to hide my "I-Miss-Them-So-Much", I believed Dad could feel it bcos I felt it in him, through his voice. I know I hv again caused pain in him, in them.
So many times, I wanted so much to tell them "Dad, Mom, Bro, I missed you so much, I love you more than anything else", but I just can't bring myself to say those mushy words. MUSHY - Y do I term these words as mushy? Just becasue it's not common in our culture? Mayb, people will start to appreciate all these mushy words one of this days.
How can I bring my feelings across them? All I could do was to tell my precious niece, whenever I spoke to her, "Nadia, u missed gu gu? Nadia, gu gu miss you". Targeting her was much easier bcos she is just a 2 yr-old little darling. Still @times, when she gave me a YES (tt she missed me), I cld feel her thinking 'why is it tt I dun get to see gu gu nowadays', & it started my 'tap' running again....
Now, after merely 3months of FAR & AWAY from my loved ones, hv I begin to treasure each & every one of them. Nothing is more important than spending time with my loved ones.
If given an opportunity to re-live my life, I would never ever wanna leave them; not even for a
day.
If you think you wanna be independent, heed my advice: There are many ways in seeking for independence & freedom, but some things, once lost, can never be found again.

The Basic Differences We Ought to Know Between A Man and A Woman
You can change a person's mind (by making changes & allowing choices);
But you can never change his mindset (the in-built behavioral traits - GENETIC).
The debate on equality in Men & Women has still not come to an end; it never will.
How can we ever be equal, when (a) God created Adam with a 'driver', Eve with a 'nut', (b) when Man is spelt with 3 letters, Woman with 5!, (c) when man FLIRTS - 'it's common', when a woman does - 'she's a BITCH'.....
It has been proven that man & woman's brain operates differently; the man being the lunch-chaser, woman being the home-maker. In fact, everything abt man & woman are so different - the appearance, the mentality, the viewpoints, and so on & so forth - how can there ever be EQUALITY? Is this so significant in life??
Seeking for equality brings you STRESS; comparison brings you ANGER. Both of which increase the grudges between the 2 sexes, creating an even less harmonious world.
Learning about differences does not provide us an opportunity for criticism on the other's weaknesses & faults, it gives us a better understanding of the opposite sex, and how we can better improve on our relationships.
Life is about integration, it's not just you or me.
